East Toledo

● Magyar Gardin, Urban Garden Tour, part of the 2013 Ohio Sustainable Farm Tour and workshop series at 2353 York St., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. See the Monarch butterfly way station, a potato-growing demonstration, community garden vegetable plots, an insect hotel, and working beehives. ● Rally for the Family and Let’s Stop the Bullying at Waite High School, 301 Morrison Dr., 11 a.m. Aug. 24. The rally will kick off with a neighborhood festival. Event is to raise awareness in the need of support to the family unit and to bring more attention to bullying. We will embrace any family which has lost a loved one through gang or gun violence.
