DUNDEE, Mich. — Dundee police hope someone can help them catch a rogue Santa Claus who robbed the Bank of America in Dundee in mid-December.

The man — described as slim, with scruffy facial hair and about 6 feet tall — robbed the bank at 232 Tecumseh St. about 2:15 p.m. Dec. 16, police said.

He wore a blue jacket over a white turtleneck and a dark-colored sweater and had a handgun tucked into the waistband of his jeans.

The outfit was topped off with sunglasses and a red-and-white Santa cap pulled over his forehead.

The man told tellers to fill his bag with money, then fled in an unknown direction once they complied. The amount of cash taken was not disclosed.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Crime Stopper program at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
