PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver David Boston was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police found him passed out behind the wheel of a sport utility vehicle.

The 29-year-old was found slumped over the steering wheel of a red Range Rover on Thursday evening, police said.

The SUV was running and in drive. An officer woke up Boston, who said he was headed to Tampa International Airport.

Boston was arrested after a field sobriety test. Initial breath tests did not indicate alcohol but other test results are still pending, police said.

Boston was transported to the Pinellas County jail and later released.

Knee injuries have sidelined Boston for most of the past three seasons. He signed with Tampa Bay in May after spending the previous two years with the Miami Dolphins.

The former Ohio State Buckeye was the eighth pick in the 1999 draft and has 315 receptions for 4,699 yards and 25 touchdowns in 75 career games with Arizona, San Diego, and Miami. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2001, when he was with the Cardinals.

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers are hopeful that wide receiver Donald Driver's foot injury is not too serious.

Driver was hurt on Thursday night in the Packers' 21-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after making a 12-yard reception late in the second quarter.

Jaguars safety Sammy Knight rolled up on Driver's right leg, and the Packers two-time Pro Bowler immediately reached for his foot. Driver was aided off the field and did not return.

General manager Ted Thompson said Driver was feeling better yesterday.

Titans 28, Bills 17

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Vince Young went 13-of-19 for 162 yards passing and a touchdown, and also scored a TD rushing in a victory over Buffalo. It was a much-needed performance from Young and a starting offense that had failed to produce a score in eight possessions in a 27-24 win in sloppy and wet conditions at New England last week.

The Bills' offense also finally started showing signs of its big-play potential. J.P. Losman shook off an early interception and connected with wide receiver Lee Evans for a 64-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter.

Patriots 24, Panthers 7

CHARLOTTE - Two days after Tom Brady missed practice to fly to Los Angeles where his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, gave birth to their son, Brady returned to the Patriots and was nearly flawless, completing 17 of 21 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
