OSU women lose to Maryland

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Crystal Langhorne scored 17 points, Marissa Coleman added 14 and No. 3 Maryland beat 19th-ranked Ohio State 77-53 last night in the women's Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Laura Harper had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds, and Kristi Toliver recorded 11 assists to help the Terrapins (10-0) became the first team in the country to reach double figures in victories.

Four of those wins have come against ranked opponents.

Jantel Lavender had 16 points and 14 rebounds for Ohio State (5-2). The Buckeyes went 21-for-71 from the floor (30 percent) and missed 15 of 21 shots from 3-point range.
