  • Ohio State's spring football game could be headed south.

The school is in talks with the Cincinnati Bengals to play the Buckeyes' 2013 exhibition at Paul Brown Stadium while Ohio Stadium undergoes a routine renovation, OSU announced Wednesday.

"We look forward to continuing our discussions and look forward to an opportunity to bring the Buckeyes into Cincinnati and closer to our Southern Ohio fans," OSU athletic director Gene Smith said.

The Horseshoe facelift includes stripping and replacing the 1922-era coating off sections of the lower and upper decks that were not restored as part of the $194 million upgrade completed in 2001.
