Ohio State releases basketball schedule

A game on the deck of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, a trip to Duke and a home grudge match against Kansas highlight the Ohio State basketball team’s schedule.

The Buckeyes, who released their 2012-2013 schedule today, will open a high-profile nonconference slate on the water Nov. 9 against Marquette in the Carrier Classic in Charleston, S.C. Ohio State also travels to Duke on Nov. 28 and hosts Kansas on Dec. 22. OSU lost to the Jayhawks in the Final Four last season.

Ohio State begins its Big Ten schedule Jan. 2 at home against Nebraska. Other key home dates include Jan. 13 against Michigan, Jan. 29 against Wisconsin, Feb. 10 against Indiana and Feb. 24 against Michigan State. The Buckeyes visit UM on Feb. 5.
