Fattoush salad, lamb gyro, and fried mac & cheese from Oasis in Perrysburg Township.

I'd had about enough of the bitter cold on a recent assignment in Perrysburg Township, so I was in desperate need of a warm meal.

I also needed to get home quickly to relieve my husband from child care duties so that he could go to his job, and it would be bad form to bring home food only for myself.

I literally found an Oasis, a dine-in and delivery joint in the Route 20 Kroger Plaza that offers Mediterranean fare such as tawook and shawarma, Italian standards of pizza, pasta, and calzones, and enough chicken bites, hot dogs, and fried appetizer to keep anyone happy.

Visit my Paint the Town blog to read whether I made it home before eating the lunch of gyros and fattoush I ostensibly was bringing to my husband.
