Members of Sylvania City Council have decided to wait for a Web traffic analysis before moving forward with any plans to potentially add a live video feed of the meetings to the city Web site.

At the Nov. 5 meeting, the city's information technology manager, Mike Tansey, said about 300 people visit the downloads page for the council meetings, which contains the agenda, packet information, and audio of the meeting.

“That's roughly 50 people per meeting,” he said. But the current web analytic software doesn't show exactly how many people download the audio feature. Mr. Tansey said the department would have that capability installed in a few weeks.
