Concert series slates silent-film screenings
1/1/2013Pemberville and Grand Rapids opera houses are to be hosts to Silent Movie Night this weekend as part of the Live in the House Concert Series. They will feature the Black Pirate, starring Douglas Fairbanks, with Lynne Long of Grand Rapids on piano.
The event starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Pemberville Opera House and at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Grand Rapids Opera House. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door, at Beeker’s General Store or Riverbank Antiques in Pemberville, Washers in Grand Rapids, or from Carol at 419-287-4848.
