What makes your place unique: With all of the dining options that abound in Toledo, Manhattan's has a character that stands out. The exposed brick walls in the heart of the Uptown neighborhood paired with the skilled and friendly wait staff would be enough to make Manhattan's memorable. But in addition to these standards of excellence, we also have live music six nights a week, bargain drink specials, and a room full of regulars that also make every customer feel welcome.

Origin of your name: Manhattan's Restaurant is named after the New York borough from which we draw inspiration. Our decor, ambiance, and menu all have been inspired by Manhattan and were designed by general manager Zach Lahey and his then business partner. Since then, the Lahey family has strived to bring a slice of the Big Apple to Toledo through American bistro style cuisine, flat bread pizzas, friendly faces, and quality service.

Type of music/entertainment featured: Most of our music is jazz or blues. We also feature acoustic acts, open mike and open-jams evenings, and touring musicians.

Clientele: Our customers tend to be patrons friendly to or familiar with downtown, ranging from late-20s to 70s. The clientele equally is split between couples and families in search of a top-notch dinner/date and jazz and blues appreciators.
