Comedian Pablo Francisco will perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club Friday through Sunday. Shows begin at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7 and 10 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $22 and guests must be 21 or older. Francisco is known for his arsenal of characters, spontaneous outbursts, and impressions. His new one-hour comedy special They Put It Out There made its debut on Comedy Central in November. In addition to his Comedy Central specials, Francisco has released several DVDs.

The SOSEG Fest will be held at Headliners, 4500 N. Detroit Ave., from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday to raise money for the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo. Bowling Green State University professor Matt Donahue will perform instrumental guitar songs Sunday at 5:45 p.m. as part of the first Ray Browne Conference on Popular Culture at BGSU. Donahue, who has a doctorate from BGSU's Department of Popular Culture, will deliver a free lecture and performance titled Guitar Stories: On Fender that highlight the electric guitar in pop culture. His performance will be in room 201 at the Bowen Thompson Student Union.

The Black Swamp Conservancy will hold the Blue Grass & Green Acres benefit Friday at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature two bluegrass bands. Kicking off the night is local band Acoustic Penguin. Headlining is Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys, who will sing true-life tales of "bank-robbing aunties, moonshinin' grandpas, and celebrations of love, life, and nature."
