Caper's Pizza Bar.

Address: 2038 S. Byrne Rd.

Origin of club's name: The opening of Caper's was considered an adventure or a "caper" for our family. A caper is also the bud from a plant grown in the Mediterranean region. It is used in many Italian dishes. The two different definitions seemed to work for our name.

What makes your place unique? The outside appearance is deceiving. There are two different sides, one being cozy and traditional while the other is more open and works well for groups. We seat more than 200 people and have two beautiful oak bars that seat 30 people.

The patio is comfortable with its plants and fountain. But the aesthetics alone do not make us unique. Our baker makes bread and pizza dough from scratch. All our sauces and soups also are made from scratch.

What kind of entertainment do you feature? We have no regular scheduled entertainment, but when we have special events, good entertainment is always included.

Clientele: We target those 30 and older. Large parties and groups are welcome.

Upcoming events: We have a 40-person Mug Club that holds monthly meetings, which feature different beers and speakers. We also hold monthly wine, liquor, and craft beer tastings. We are planning a July White Wine tasting. Our tastings are paired with our food and hosted by our distributors.
