Olympic gold medalist figure skaters Scott Hamilton and Sarah Hughes will be guest emcees of this year's Skate for Hope Awareness and Research Fund-raising Show Saturday at the Bowling Green State University Ice Arena. The show will include local skaters of all ages, who raised funds for cancer research to earn their spots in the cast, along with 12 national, world, and Olympic figure skaters. Tickets for the show are $12, $20, and $54 and are on sale through ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, the Stroh Center Box Office, and by phone at 419-372-0000. Additional fees may apply.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative, a partnership between Hamilton, a cancer survivor and one of the most recognizable names in international figure skating, and the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute, where he was treated. The initiative promotes cancer awareness and has raised millions of dollars for cancer research.

In addition to Hamilton and Hughes, elite figure skaters headlining the show include Felicia Zhang and Nathan Bartholomay, 2014 Olympians; Max Aaron, U.S. National Champion and World Team Member; Rachael Flatt, 2010 Olympian; Alexe Gilles, U.S. Junior Ladies National Champion and many more.
