On the panels, Matis uses folded paper, 3-D pencil drawings, acrylics, and spray paint to incorporate his experiences raising a special needs child into a narrative that leads father and son on a dream journey. He will return for a talk and closing reception from 7 to 9 p.m. May 24. Information: lesogallery.com.

    ● A reception for Rust-Belt-Muse, a solo show of sculptures by Sandra Jane Heard, will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. ● A dozen more bouquets are on view through the weekend in the Glass Pavilion, where professional florists discussed their ideas for vase design with Jeff Mack, manager of studio glass. The vases were then realized by glassmakers, and this week, filled with flowers by the florists.
