AUDITIONS

Oregon Community Theatre will hold auditions for the Children's Summer Theatre production of Peter Pan Jr., from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Rd. Show dates are July 17, 18, and 19.

A mandatory meeting for parents and children who are auditioning will be at 6:30 p.m. May 29 at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Actors must be at least 8 and/​or have completed second-eighth grades. Actors should be prepared to sing a short song. Auditions also will include a movement/​dance component. A participation fee of $40 will be due at the meeting.

Maumee Valley Civic Theatre will hold open auditions for its production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 7 p.m. June 1 and 2 at the John L. Johnson Auditorium, 303 W. Main St., Napoleon. A large cast of all ages is needed. Show dates are July 24, 25, and 26. Information: 966-2532 or mvctohio.org.

Auditions for Bugsy Malone, Jr., the Toledo Rep’s latest Young Rep musical, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at 16 Tenth Street. Children ages 7 to 13 are asked to prepare the first 16 bars of one of the following songs from the show: Bad Guys, Tomorrow, Only a Fool, Tallulah, or That’s Why They Call Him Dandy. Audio samples are available at www.toledorep.org under the “audition” tab. A short dance routine will be taught after the vocal auditions. Performances will be Aug. 7-10.
