Police suspect robber makes recurring visits

A man robbed the 7-Eleven, 2601 West Bancroft St., of an undisclosed amount of money yesterday, and police think it's the same man who robbed the convenience store twice before.

The man entered the store about 3 a.m. and looked around. He approached an employee, Charles Stall, and said, “You know what I'm here for! Now hand it to me!” according to a police report.

The man was holding his coat around his face and had his right hand in his coat as if he had a weapon. After receiving the money, he fled south behind the store, police said.

Police think the man robbed the store of $40 about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The man implied he had a gun but never showed one. About 4:50 a.m. Thursday, a man wearing a pillow case over his face robbed the store of $100.
