LEIPSIC - A Leipsic woman has been arrested in southern Indiana and charged with Friday's robbery of the Leipsic Bank, the Putnam County sheriff's office said yesterday.

Cheryl Warren, 20, was arrested Saturday in Paoli, Ind., by Paoli police, FBI agents, and deputies with the sheriff's office in Orange County, Indiana. Ms. Waren was taken into custody after a Paoli police officer saw her car.

Ms. Warren is being held in the Orange County jail, pending extradition to Putnam County.

The bank on East Main Street was held up about 2 p.m. Friday by a woman wearing a ski mask, a long white sweatshirt, and gloves. The woman threatened a teller with what looked like a pistol.
