Three dead in early morning fire

FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A mother and her two teen-age sons died in a fire at their home Friday morning, authorities said.

Teri Ann Daniels, 40, Joseph Lee Daniels, 16, and David Michael Daniels, 17, died in the early morning fire, the Monroe County Sheriff's Department said.

Police and fire crews responded to the scene at 7:04 a.m. EDT and found the home fully engulfed in flames. An 11-year-old girl, Sarah Anne Daniels, escaped the home unharmed.

Police and neighbors were able to rescue a 17-year-old from the home. Joseph Dylenski was taken to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. His condition was not immediately known.

The state Fire Marshall's office and the sheriff's department were investigating.
