West Alexis hair salon robbed of more than $880

A man wearing a mask and carrying a revolver robbed First Choice Haircutters, 240 West Alex|is Rd., of more than $880 in cash and checks Tuesday, police said.

The manager said she took garbage out the back door, leaving the door unlocked about 9:10 p.m. The man came in through the door, pointed a revolver at her and two witnesses, and demanded money.

He fled after the manager gave him the money, police said.
