Findlay man arrested for robbery behind bar

FINDLAY — One man was injured and another man arrested after an assault took place behind a Main Street bar.

Findlay police officers were called to the rear of Dillon's, 121 N. Main St., at 10:33 p.m. Saturday where they found Steven Campton, 39, bleeding from the head. Mr. Campton told officers that he had been assaulted and robbed. He was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was treated.

Officers later arrested Travis Essinger, 21, of Findlay for robbery. He is in the Hancock County Justice Center awaiting arraignment.
