LIMA, Ohio — A Lima corrections officer faces up to five years in prison for allegedly taking illegal drugs into the Lima Correctional Institution.
Cynthia L. Cloud, 25, was arraigned in Allen County Common Pleas Court Monday on a charge of conveying drugs onto the grounds of a correctional facility, a third-degree felony.
Ohio Highway Patrol troopers and Department of Rehabilitation and Correction investigators arrested Ms. Cloud at 4 p.m. Friday after obtaining information that she allegedly planned to bring illegal drugs into the prison. They discovered 63 grams of marijuana on her at the time.
