LIMA, Ohio — Two local men await arraignment after Lima police officers said they witnessed a crack deal involving the two.

Daniel Napper, 26, and Joseph Williams, 41, were arrested at about 11 a.m. yesterday and charged with trafficking crack cocaine. They are being held in the Allen County Jail pending arraignment in Lima Municipal Court.

Officers of the department's Proactive Crime Enforcement Unit said crack cocaine and money were seized from both men after their arrest in the 600 block of West North Street. They learned Mr. Napper was wanted by the court on multiple charges, including failure to appear for a child support hearing, a probation violation, a bond revocation for the possession of crack cocaine, and failure to comply with an order of the court.
