A Toledo man accused in the shooting death of David Davis at a central city gas station in June has been indicted by a Lucas County grand jury.

Rayshawn McCoy, 22, was indicted yesterday on one count each of murder and felonious assault. He also faces specifications that a gun was used in the shooting.

McCoy, a known gang member, is accused of shooting Mr. Davis, 25, of 904 Hamilton St. on June 22 at the BP Station, 2315 North Detroit Ave., after an argument. Police said several shots were fired during the incident. Aaron Hoskins, 20, of Toledo, was shot in the hip.

An arrest warrant was issued for McCoy, who turned himself in to authorities in Houston in early July.
