FINDLAY — Ohio Highway Patrol troopers said they seized $1.8 million worth of cocaine yesterday on I-75 in Hancock County.

Daniel Ortiz, 23, of Bellevue, Wash., was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of criminal tools.

Troopers said they stopped Mr. Ortiz's vehicle here at 1:10 a.m. for a marked-lanes violation.

A drug-detecting dog alerted troopers to the presence of drugs, and troopers said they seized 40 pounds of cocaine.
