Fugitive caught after 21/2 years at large

STRYKER, Ohio — A Montpelier, Ohio, fugitive who failed to return to the work-release program at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio 21/2 years ago is back in custody.

Jason Lusk, 27, was apprehended in Lucas County early Wednesday and returned to the jail, where he will be charged with escape and nonsupport.

Lusk was serving two six-month jail sentences from Bryan Municipal Court for driving under suspension but was allowed to leave the jail to conduct job searches. He failed to return March 12, 2001, with only two months remaining on his sentence.
