PIONEER, Ohio - A one-story summer home at Lake Seneca, four miles west of Pioneer, was declared a total loss after it caught fire Monday night, fire officials said yesterday.

Pioneer fire Chief Denny Fackler said the blaze was reported shortly after 6 p.m. at 238 Seneca Drive, which is owned by Kenneth Ducat. A total of four area fire departments responded to the fire call.

The cause remained under investigation yesterday, but the chief said the blaze was not suspicious.
