2 men, 1 with gun, rob Springfield Twp. motel

Two men — one armed with a handgun — last night robbed the Knight's Inn motel at Airport Highway and Holland-Sylvania Road in Springfield Township of an undetermined amount of money, Lucas County sheriff's deputies said.

Two men entered the motel's office shortly before 8 p.m. and demanded cash from a clerk. The clerk, who was not hurt, complied and the pair fled, deputies said.
