TIFFIN — Two men accused of breaking into schools in Van Buren, Ohio, have been indicted on similar charges for an alleged burglary in the Hope|well-Loudon School District.

A Seneca County grand jury on Monday indicted Scott Wears, 25, of Findlay and Travis Trenor, 21, of Amsden, Ohio, on charges of breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, theft, and vandalism. The Seneca County Sheriff's Office said the two men broke into a Hopewell-Loudon building Nov. 25.

The men were arrested Dec. 3 after a break-in at Van Buren Local Schools. A Hancock County sheriff's deputy stopped their car because a taillight was burned out, asked to look inside the trunk, and allegedly found laptop computers from Van Buren and Hopewell-Loudon.

Both men are charged in Hancock County with two counts of breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, and receiving stolen property.
