4-foot python taken in Weston burglary

WESTON, Ohio - A 4-foot snake was among several items stolen from a Sand Ridge Road home over the weekend, the Wood County Sheriff s Office said.

Joy Flores, 30, called deputies after returning home from a weekend away to find her house had been burglarized. Several electronics were stolen as well as the 48-inch ball python.

Deputies responding to the call Sunday said there appeared to be no sign of forced entry. The theft remains under investigation.
