Weekend patrols on lookout for DUI drivers

Three police departments in the Lucas County DUI Task Force - Oregon, Sylvania, and Sylvania Township - will increase patrols this weekend to identify and stop motorists who may be driving while impaired.

Officers involved will be working overtime. The effort is funded with a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety and coordinated by the Toledo Police Department.

The task force, besides Toledo, includes Maumee and University of Toledo police and the Lucas County Sheriff s Department.
