BOWLING GREEN - City police will step up enforcement of Ohio's seat belt and child passenger laws beginning May 24.
Tickets will be issued to all motorists who are not buckled up or whose children are not properly restrained. The effort is part of Ohio's "What's Holding You Back?" campaign and the nationwide "Click it or Ticket" campaign.
More than half of all Ohioans killed in traffic accidents last year were not wearing seatbelts.
