Police cite hundreds in traffic crackdown

Fourteen people were arrested for driving while intoxicated and hundreds of others were cited for various traffic offenses by Toledo police during a recent two-week traffic enforcement campaign.

Officers handed out 369 speeding tickets, 327 citations to drivers with suspended or revoked licenses, and 223 seat belt and restraint violations. They also made 18 felony arrests, according to results released yesterday.
