LIMA, Ohio - A shooting in the Arby's restaurant parking lot near the Lima Mall just before 3 a.m. yesterday injured two people, including a 21-year-old local woman who was admitted to St. Rita's Medical Center.

A 24-year-old Lima man who had recently been indicted on three counts of trafficking in crack cocaine by the Allen County grand jury was charged with felonious assault by the Allen County Sheriff's Department. Larnell Funches, 24, is to appear in Lima Municipal Court today. He was held in the Allen County jail last night.

No information was available on the condition of Alicia O'Dell who was shot multiple times. Jarrod Leon, 28, also of Lima, was treated at St. Rita's for injuries to his elbow.

Shots were fired after an argument broke out among seven or eight people in the parking lot of the restaurant on Elida Road just west of Lima in American Township, said Sheriff Dan Beck. He said he did not know what triggered the argument.
