Teen s death from gun an accident, official says

LIMA, Ohio An Auglaize County teen who was fatally shot in the head while playing with his father s handgun died as the result of an accident, according to the Allen County coroner.

Dr. William Wright said Benjamin Singer, 15, of Botkins and a friend were handling a loaded gun when young Singer was shot about 10:30 p.m. July 3. He died at Lima Memorial Hospital.
