Man faces 4 felonies in Put-in-Bay stabbing

PORT CLINTON - A Broadview Heights, Ohio, man has been indicted on four felony charges in the stabbing of a bouncer at a Put-in-Bay bar.

Marcus R. Herrera, 29, was indicted Tuesday by the Ottawa County grand jury on two counts of felonious assault and single counts of attempted murder and carrying concealed weapons, according to the county prosecutor's office.

Authorities said Mr. Herrara was being escorted from the Boathouse Bar July 24 when he pulled out a butterfly knife and stabbed Brandon Copeland, 24, of Toledo five times. Mr. Copeland was treated at Medical College of Ohio Hospitals.
