Coroner waits for answers in Kenton woman's death

KENTON - The Hardin County coroner said it could take eight weeks for test results that may shed light on the death of a Kenton woman whose body was found at a church mission where she was staying.

Misty Spencer, 24, was found dead in her room at the Community Outreach Mission about 6:50 p.m. Sunday. Police said her employer became concerned after she didn't show up for work.

Coroner Lawrence Kuk said yesterday he observed no obvious cause of death. An autopsy was performed by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office in Dayton, but results of toxicology tests may not be back for two months.
