2 indicted in Wood County on cocaine charges

BOWLING GREEN - Two Toledo men were indicted by a special Wood County grand jury this week on charges they sold large quantities of cocaine in Wood County.

John D. "Butter" Baker, 26, of 355 Sentry Hill Rd. was indicted on five counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. McKinney E. "Boo" Chapman, 26, of 4036 Estateway Rd. was indicted on two counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.

Assistant Wood County Prosecutor Gwen Howe-Gebers said the indictments stem from an ongoing investigation by the sheriff's office, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
