Monroe officials suspect link in pair of robberies
10/6/2004MONROE - Monroe County sheriff's deputies are trying to determine whether a pair of robberies committed last week are related.
On Friday, a man robbed a Papa John's delivery girl of an undisclosed amount of cash as she sat in her vehicle on Rauch Road between Jackman and Douglas roads, in Bedford Township, deputies said. The suspect fled in an older model, four-door maroon vehicle, witnesses said.
On Saturday, a man with a handgun and wearing a ski mask robbed the Kreps Apple Farm store on Minx Road in LaSalle Township of an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled down Minx and apparently into a nearby field, where a tracking dog lost his scent.
