A Racine, Wis., man agreed to be extradited to his hometown yesterday where he faces an attempted first-degree murder charge.

Craig Miller, 49, who was arrested in Toledo Tuesday, appeared before Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge James Jensen, who ordered him held in the county jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond. Wisconsin authorities have 14 days to pick him up.

Mr. Miller is accused of being under the influence of crack cocaine on June 26 when he became irate. He allegedly picked up a wooden chisel and tried to stab a woman in the forehead. She was successful in fighting him off, but he was able to stab her in the back, causing a punctured lung, court documents state.

He faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
