DELPHOS, Ohio - A Delphos man has been charged with two felonies after a drug raid at his home, authorities said.

Dale J. Metzger, 52, was arrested Thursday at his home by members of the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.

He was charged with possession of cocaine and carrying weapons under disability, which, upon conviction, carry a maximum prison term of five years.

He was released on a $10,000 surety bond after a hearing yesterday in Van Wert Municipal Court.

Officers serving a search warrant found a "large amount" of cocaine, cash, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun with ammunition, the task force said.

Mr. Metzger is the 13th person in Delphos to be arrested in connection with suspected drug trafficking in the past 2 1/2 years, according to task force members.
