Gunman robs Subway in Maumee of cash

A man with a silver handgun last night robbed the Subway restaurant at 259 Golden Gate in Maumee of an undetermined amount of money, police said.

The man walked in the back door about 8:40 p.m., confronted employees, obtained the cash, and then fled, police said.
