Seneca County raid nets 10 on drug charges

TIFFIN - In an early morning raid, some 80 law enforcement officers arrested 10 people on drug charges yesterday, the result of an eight-month investigation.

The Seneca County Drug Task Force found crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, money, and criminal tools in the sweep, which took place in the Riverbend Apartment Complex on East Market Street. Thirteen people, including several from Mississippi, face a total of 30 charges in connection with the investigation.

The 10 arrested were: Ed Jones, 31, Tabarah Page, 29, Donald Moore, 35, and Victor Brown, 27, all of Laurel, Miss.; Cory Price, 25, of Greensprings, Ohio; and Tiffin residents Thomas Russell Jr., 40, Paul Dudgeon, 40, Troy Carter, 36, Richard Barker, 44, and Jacqueline Shuff, 26.

Three others remained at large yesterday afternoon, said Detective Charles W. Boyer of the Tiffin Police Department.

The charges they face include 25 charges of crack cocaine trafficking and five charges of marijuana trafficking. Of the 30 charges, 26 occurred within 1,000 feet of a school, officials said.
