At least 2 women sought in West Toledo robbery

Toledo police are looking for two women who robbed a West Toledo credit union Saturday and fled in a vehicle possibly occupied by two other people.

The women entered Erie Shores Credit Union, 3450 West Central Ave., about 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

One stood in the lobby, while the other approached a teller and handed over a note demanding money, investigators said.

The note inferred the robber had a weapon, but none was seen.

The women then fled to a vehicle, possibly a tan Ford Bronco that was last seen northbound on Executive Parkway, detectives said.

Witnesses told police a man described as black and wearing a blue fleece sweat suit was outside the credit union and ran to the vehicle, which may have been driven by a fourth, unidentified person. The robbers were described as black, 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and solidly built.
