BRYAN - A Williams County sheriff's deputy has been recognized by the Ohio Department of Public Safety for arresting two multiple drunken-driving offenders.
Deputy Shaun Faulk was cited in a recent issue of Hot Sheet News, published by the state agency, for arresting William Flynn of Bryan on July 24 for driving under the influence.
It was Flynn's 11th drunken-driving arrest.
The deputy also was recognized for a July 23 arrest of Thomas Schmuhl, of Bryan, for a fifth DUI offense.
Hot Sheet News reports arrests of the state's habitual drunken drivers.
The state defines a habitual DUI offender as one with five or more convictions.
