Toledo police are seeking tips through the Crime Stopper program about the slaying Nov. 21 of a Toledo man at a central-city apartment.

Breon Jenkins, 32, was shot in the lower chest-upper abdomen during a struggle with one of two armed suspects who entered 2221 Kent St. He died in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

The masked intruders invaded the residence and forced a boy, 14, to the basement, where the victim and three others were playing dominoes.

One of the suspects demanded money. The victim struggled with him and was shot. Mr. Jenkins and the other three people were then robbed of small amounts of cash, police said.

One suspect was described as black, about 20 years old, 6 feet tall, and heavy set. The other was black, short, and skinny.

The victim's family is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the slaying. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111.
