OAK HARBOR, Ohio - Law enforcement officials plan to meet next week to decide whether to charge an Oak Harbor woman in the accidental drowning of an 8-month-old girl she was baby-sitting.

The child, Kiersten B. Klein, was in a bath tub Monday afternoon at the Church Street home of Amber Peabody, 26, when the incident occurred, Oak Harbor police Chief Steve Weirich said yesterday. Village police received a 911 call at 2:45 p.m. Monday from a woman who said an infant had drowned.

Chief Weirich said he, Oak Harbor detectives, and the Ottawa County coroner and prosecutor were trying to arrange a meeting to discuss the investigation into the girl's death, which was ruled an accident Tuesday by the coroner's office.
