A Toledo man accused of driving drunk when he collided with a car at an Oregon intersection, killing the 82-year-old driver, was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury for causing her death.

Lance E. Kincaid, 41, of 1944 Meadowlark Ave. was indicted on one count each of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault.

Gertrude Koepke, of 229 Trails End, Oregon, was killed Feb. 15 at State Rt. 2 and Coy Road when Mr. Kincaid failed to stop for a stop sign at Coy, authorities said.

Ms. Koepke's passengers, Ethyle Lallendorf, 82, of the Trails End address, and Yvonne Mann, 59, of 3135 Navarre Ave., Oregon, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Prosecutors said blood drawn from Mr. Kincaid at Bay Park Community Hospital indicated that his blood-alcohol content exceeded the 0.08 percent legal limit in Ohio.

He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
