MONROE - Authorities were searching for a man who robbed a Monroe service station yesterday.
The suspect, wearing a white cloth over his face, entered Barron's, 974 Will Carleton Rd., about 2 a.m. and, wielding a knife, demanded money from the clerk, Monroe County sheriff's deputies said.
The suspect fled with about $400 in cash in a blue or black sedan with a luggage rack mounted on the trunk. The car was driven by another individual, deputies said.
The clerk described the suspect as white and in his mid-20s. He was waering blue jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.
