SWANTON - Three Toledo men were arraigned yesterday in Fulton County Eastern District Court here on charges stemming from a shooting that hospitalized a Bryan man Saturday.

Donte Richardson, 18, of 253 Knower St., was charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. Andrew Anderson, Jr., 22, of 1241 East Bancroft St., and John Cavitt, 26, of 2301 Chestnut St., were charged with aggravated robbery, Swanton police Chief Homer Chapa said.

Preliminary hearings for the men, who are being held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, Stryker, are set for today.

Chief Chapa said the victim's attorney called police, and the chief hasn't yet talked to the victim. He said the victim was shot once in the chest with a handgun in a dispute possibly involving drugs. Court documents listed the victim as Scott D. Wilson. He has not been charged.

The incident took place about 3:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Forrester Avenue. After the shooting, Fulton County sheriff's deputies chased the three men on State Rt. 64, where the men crashed their vehicle 3 1/2 miles north of Swanton.
