A woman who is accused of being drunk when she ran a red light at a South Toledo intersection, killing another motorist, was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Lafonda S. Willis, 22, of 4686 South Park Lane, was indicted on an aggravated vehicular homicide charge for the June 27 accident at Reynolds Road and Heatherdowns Road. She will be arraigned later in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Police said she was driving north on Reynolds and ran the red light at Heatherdowns, colliding with the vehicle of Nasreen Bagheri, 22, of Cook Drive. Ms. Bagheri was killed in the crash. The drivers of two other vehicles involved in the mishap were treated at the scene.

Prosecutors would not provide Ms. Willis blood-alcohol level, but said it was above the state s legal limit for a motorist of 0.08 percent.
